The evaporator classic can also be used in cold way hives. The problem here is, that the fumes can get out of the hive faster, when using the space between the frames.
Therefore we recommend to close 1/2 or 2/3 of the hive-entrance, which is situated directly next to the evaporator. Please use a squared piece of wood for that.
In this case the acid-fumes can not leave the hive directly through the entrance. If you work like this, the success is guaranteed!
